An 18th century and 19th century adapted stool
A late 18th century stool, chamfered slab elm top over shaped ash legs, later adapted in the 19th century to have a pine board to heighten the stool, clearly for working at a different height to its original one.
A delightfully unusual piece.
Measuring: 55 cm high, 35 cm wide by 24 cm front to back
British, late 18th century and adapted in the 19th century
