A super French school oil on canvas portrait of a gentleman c. 1890-1900. We debated long and hard about restoration on this one but we just love the effect the paint loss gives to the edge of the canvas, that we had the paint loss stablised, a very light clean and a small tear repaired. We just love the whiskers!
