19th century study of a marble bust in graphite, examined South Kensington
A late 19th century study in graphite of a marble bust blind stamped ESK for examined South Kensington denoting the work of a student at the School of Design. It was known as the Art School, or Art Training School and still operates as the Royal College of Art which it became in 1896.
Housed in the original frame with some losses. Unglazed.
