19th century leather military satchel 22nd Regiment

A leather satchel of military origins.   The satchel, possibly a military messenger's case has a button marked XXII Regiment, possibly the 22nd (Chesire) Regiment and 'GIIIR' markings with a crown on the front, for George III.
