A portrait of a gentleman in traditional highland dress, late 19th century. The portrait remains in the original Victorian frame and the back is untouched. Oil on canvas possibly laid down onto board.
Slight lifting to the right of the subject’s beard and bottom right of portrait. Some paint loss and old restoration at the bottom, canvas is lifting slightly at bottom.
