A hand coloured engraving of General Thomas Picton who fell at the Battle of Waterloo after a portrait by Martin Archer Shee (1769-1850). This engraving is not commonly seen, and published by Welch and Gwynne of 24 St. James St, London in 1843. Foxing and marks constant with age. Housed in a 19th century Birds Eye maple frame, behind glass.
