An original George III handbill for the Grand State Lottery from June, 1808.   The early advertising of the 'Tim Bobbins'  type figure is interesting to see as he declares 'What a grand scheme, six prizes of £20,000'.   

Tickets were sold in Cornhill, London, Charing Cross and Borough.

The handbill was printed by Gye and Balme of Gracechurch Street, London.

Slight tear to the centre and bottom.
