An unusual George III brass clasp for "Chas B, Surgeon"
A small brass clasp crudely engraved "Chas B Surgeon HA" dating to around 1780.
Chas, was sometimes used as an abbreviation for Charles. Possibly the clasp for a medical or instrument bag. With signs of verdigris to surface.
