Early 19th century leather wallet Thomas Wroe Junior
Quite a rare find is this 1830s leather wallet belonging to Thomas Wroe Junior of Bradford, Yorkshire. The wallet would have held the large banknotes of the period. Not that Thomas's wallet would have had many notes in as he was declared bankrupt by 1840. Thomas Wroe was a wool dealer in Bradford in the 1830s along with his father.
Some of the clasp missing.
