A delightful mid 18th century portrait of a gentleman, oil on oval oak panel. The be-wigged sitter, in a mid 18th century red coat, looks wistfully to his right.
There is craqueleure to his jacket and rubbing to the edge of the portrait where it once sat in an oval frame.
