"Jemmy's Farewell" and "Jemmy's Return" - a pair of late 18th century engravings published by John Fairburn of Minors, London.  The engravings are part hand coloured and in matching 19th century frames.   Jemmy, a sailor in the Royal Navy, says goodbye to his sweeatheart in the first and is welcomed home from his sea voyages by her in the second.   Jemmy's warship can be seen in the background of both.
