Regency chest of drawers in original paint c. 1825
A beautifully proportioned Regency chest of drawers in the original untouched paint. The paint has never been overpainted, as so many of the period have, so has not been dry scraped. The top, unusually, is painted in faux marble, more often seen on washstands but not chest of drawers.
The handles are later but are 19th c handles.
